Pilates is a gentle, low-impact form of exercise carried out on a mat.
It focuses on doing each exercise in a precise and controlled way with proper breathing. Breathing properly reduces stress and energises.

Pilates offers a variety of exercises for people at any fitness level from rehabilitating patients and elderly people, through those just wanting to maintain good levels of fitness and flexibility to experts and advanced athletes. By using exercises that target your abdominal muscles, back and legs, Pilates strengthens your core and spine, increases flexibility and suppleness in the joints, relieves back pain, increases lung capacity and circulation and improves overall posture.

The Pilates lessons are given by registered physiotherapist Aisling Christiaens, and the size of the groups are limited to a maximum 8 people so that all participants get enough supervision and guidance.
