Article 2 – Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all appointments, treatments and services provided by Osteopathiepraktijk Tervuren BVBA (hereinafter "the practice"). By booking an appointment – by phone, email or via the online booking system – you expressly agree to these terms.

Article 3 – Appointments

Appointments can be made by phone (02 256 95 30), email (info@osteopathiepraktijk.be) or via the online booking platform. You will receive a confirmation of your appointment.

We ask that you arrive punctually at the scheduled time. In the event of late arrival, the effective treatment duration may be shortened without any reduction in price. The practice reserves the right to refuse or reschedule an appointment if the diary requires it; in that case, you will be notified as soon as possible.

Article 4 – Cancellation, No-Show and Refund Policy

Cancellation notice. To allow other patients the opportunity to use an available slot, we ask that you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations can be made by phone or email.

Late cancellation and no-show. In the event of a cancellation less than 24 hours before the appointment, or in the event of a no-show without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged. No refunds or credit notes will be issued for late cancellations or no-shows under any circumstances.

Force majeure. Cases of force majeure (serious medical emergency, documented force majeure) will be assessed individually by the practice. The practice reserves the sole right to evaluate such cases at its own discretion and is not obligated to grant an automatic exemption.

Repeated absences. In the event of repeated no-shows or late cancellations, the practice reserves the right to refuse future appointments or to require prepayment.

Article 5 – Fees and Payment

Current fees are available on our website and for reference in the practice. Payment is due immediately after each treatment, in cash or by payment terminal. Invoices can be provided upon explicit request.

Osteopathiepraktijk Tervuren BVBA reserves the right to change its fees. Any fee changes will be communicated in advance via the website or in another appropriate manner.

Article 6 – Health Insurance Reimbursement

Osteopathic treatments may be eligible for reimbursement by your health insurer or mutual health fund. We provide the necessary certificates and receipts. The patient is solely responsible for submitting documents to their insurer. The practice cannot guarantee that reimbursement will be granted and is not liable for decisions made by health insurance providers.

Article 7 – Medical Liability and Disclaimer

Osteopathy is a recognised manual therapy. Treatments do not, however, replace a medical diagnosis or treatment by a doctor. For serious, acute or unexplained health complaints, we recommend that you consult a doctor or specialist first.

The practice is not liable for damage resulting from incorrect, incomplete or misleading information provided by the patient during the medical history or in the context of treatment.

The outcomes of osteopathic treatments may vary from person to person. No specific result is guaranteed.

Article 8 – Personal Data

The practice processes your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Belgian privacy legislation. We refer you to our Privacy Policy for full information on processing, your rights and retention periods.

Article 9 – Intellectual Property

All content on the Osteopathiepraktijk Tervuren website (texts, images, logos, graphic material, structure) is the property of Osteopathiepraktijk Tervuren BVBA or third-party rights holders and is protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Any use, reproduction, adaptation, translation, modification or distribution of the content – in whole or in part – without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

Article 11 – Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Belgian law applies to these terms and conditions and to all services provided by Osteopathiepraktijk Tervuren BVBA. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts of the judicial district of Leuven shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.

Article 12 – Amendments

Osteopathiepraktijk Tervuren BVBA reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The most recent version is always available on the website. In the event of significant changes, existing patients will be informed where possible.
